The Sessions at Home
Paddington Central is delivering a series of exclusive online events as part of The Sessions at Home, a programme of workshops, classes and talks that are open to all. In partnership with Square Mile Farms, a vertical urban farming business, 12x3 boxing gym and Zip Fit Club, The Sessions at Home aim to inspire and encourage people to learn something new.
First up is a programme with Square Mile Farms, who have their farm on the rooftop of Two Kingdom street at Paddington Central.

Have you ever wondered how you can grow your own avocado plant from the leftover stone or how to grow new herb plants from a cutting? In this session, you’ll learn how to grow new plants from existing ones with Hannah Grows. She’ll cover the tricks of sowing seeds, taking leaf cuttings, stem tip cuttings, rooting in water and rooting in compost.

You might have heard of a cook-along, but have you ever heard of a ferment-along? This hands-on introduction to fermenting will provide you with the tools and knowledge to start experimenting with fermentation at home. Hannah Grows will guide you through the basics of fermenting and together you’ll make a fermenter’s favourite, Sauerkraut!
