Paddington Lights Up to Welcome Princess Charlotte

Paddington businesses celebrated the arrival of Princess Charlotte of Cambridge on 2 May 2015, born at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital.

The world's media and loyal well-wishers flocked to Paddington for the first glimpse of the new arrival, while businesses through PaddingtonNow collaborated to create special offers for people sharing Princess Charlotte's name or date of birth.

The Hilton London Paddington was lit in pink to welcome the new Princess, with chef Abraham Chacko baking and icing a cake.

The water maze at Merchant Square, behind St Mary's Hospital, was also lit in pink from Saturday night.
