Letter to an Unknown Soldier
As part of the WW1 commemoration series people were asked to write letters to the Unknown Soldier on platform 1 of Paddington Station, who served and was killed during World War One. The response was overwhelming, with 21,439 letters and poems sent between 28 June and 4 August 2014.

The letters all feature on the Letter to an Unknown Soldier website until 2018, when they will be archived in the British Library, remaining permanently accessible online.
