Battle the blues with mood boosting machine
As you pass through Paddington Station on Monday 20 January, keep your eyes peeled for the KLM Mood Boosting Machine.
The Netherlands are regarded as one of the happiest countries in Europe and this month the Dutch airline KLM, will be drawing on its roots to spread happiness here in Paddington.
The pop-up vending machine invites you to select an emoji which corresponds to your mood and in return will dispense personalised Dutch gifts. The initiative has been inspired by the Dutch term Gezelligheid, which describes a cosy or relaxed situation – just what we all need to escape these wet and windy January days.
Some particularly lucky commuters could find themselves winning complimentary return flights, courtesy of the KLM magical mood boosting machine. The machine is in Paddington Station for one day only, on Monday 20 January. Don't panic if you miss the machine, KLM are generously sharing plenty of happiness hacks on their dedicated Blue Monday microsite.
