Business Award Recognition for The Paddington Partnership
The Paddington Partnership is celebrating recognition in the Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2023, having received highly commended in the ‘Best charity or Social Enterprise / Contribution to the Community’ category.
This was the inaugural awards to celebrate businesses from within the two neighbouring boroughs and took place on Thursday 12 October at One Great George Street, an imposing Grade II listed building close to Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament.
The ceremony was attended by business owners, award finalists and senior officials from across the boroughs; including The Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of Westminster, Councillor Patricia McAllister – who presented our award - and The Worshipful the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Councillor Preety Hudd.
In the same week the Paddington Partnership’s Community Programme placed its 2000th volunteer of the year – surpassing our previous record in 2022 of 1,475 corporate volunteers supported. With the busy Christmas season still to come, this is a clear demonstration of our continued commitment to growing the Community Programme and widening our impact within the local area.
