20mph speed limit proposed across City of Westminster

Westminster City Council has launched a consultation on a borough-wide 20mph speed limit and wants to hear from residents and businesses throughout the city.

The council’s proposal for a 20mph limit is part of a drive to create a safer, healthier and cleaner environment for all those who live, work, visit and study in Westminster. The 20mph speed limits will be complemented by work to improve the environment for pedestrians and communities, which also includes improving air quality around schools, creating a network of Active Streets, enhancing green space and much more.
