Paddington Water Taxi service launched
People of Paddington can now take to the water with a free Water Taxi service launched by the Paddington Partnership.
Operated by GoBoat the service will offer free trips on the Grand Union Canal between Bishop's Bridge at Paddington Central and the newly opened Floating Pocket Park at Merchant Square in Paddington Basin at lunchtimes on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Operating during the summer months the Water Taxi allows passengers to see Paddington's landmark bridges in action, Heatherwick's Rolling Bridge and the Merchant Square Fan Bridge, and step onto London's first floating park.
Passengers can board a water taxi at the Floating Pocket Park or Bishop's Bridge, with taxis operating every 15 minutes between 12 noon and 2pm.
The Water Taxi comes with its very own captain, so sit back and enjoy the bridges, swans and geese!
